Programs

At Bridging the Gap (BTG), our programs are designed to meet people where they are, providing practical support for those facing life’s toughest challenges. We believe in offering essential services to help individuals and families move toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Weekly Food Distribution
Every week, BTG serves 500-750 families, ensuring they have access to nutritious food. In addition, we provide:
– Shower and laundry facilities
– Case management and referral services
– Household goods

Summer Lunch Program
Partnering with local organizations, businesses, churches, and schools, BTG provides free, nutritious meals to children 18 and under throughout the summer. This program ensures that the 48% of children in the Coweta County School System who qualify for free or reduced lunch during the school year continue to receive the food they need during the summer break.

Christmas in Coweta
In 2023, BTG brought holiday joy to 2,056 children who otherwise would have gone without gifts. Each child received items from their wish list, as well as clothing and educational materials. To apply for Christmas in Coweta or to sponsor a child, please CLICK HERE.

Home Delivery
Our home delivery program serves individuals and families who are homebound or lack transportation. While we primarily deliver food, we also provide cleaning supplies, hygiene products, durable medical equipment, and other household essentials.

BTG is committed to walking alongside individuals on their path to restoration, offering resources that address physical, mental, and spiritual needs. We serve everyone, regardless of their lifestyle, beliefs, or background, creating a community where all are welcome.
