Programs

Bridging the Gap’s programs are designed to meet people where they are. We offer the basic, practical support that people who are struggling need most.

Weekly Food Distibution: Each week BTG supplies 500-750 families with food. In addition to food BTG offers:

  • Shower and laundry facilities
  • Case management and referral services
  • Household goods

Summer Lunch Program: Bridging the Gap is partnered with community organizations, businesses, churches, and schools to provide nutritious meals to children, 18 and under, at no charge, during the summer break. Without this program, the 48% of children in the Coweta County School System who qualify for free or reduced lunch during the school year children would go without this needed food during the summer months.

Christmas in Coweta: In 2023, we provided Christmas gifts for 2056 children who would not have gifts otherwise. This includes gifts from their wish list, as well as, clothing and educational items. For information on applying for Christmas in Coweta or sponsoring a child please CLICK HERE.

Home Delivery: This program specifically services individuals/families who are shut-in or lacking transportation to receive services.  Although the bulk of deliveries are food; home delivery services also include cleaning materials, hygiene, durable medical equipment, and household items.

Bridging the Gap’s programs assist people on their journey to restoration. We strive to connect people to services and programs that serve the whole person physically, mentally and spiritually.

We serve all people, regardless of their lifestyle, beliefs or background.
